You might say...

we like oranges and bananas in this house. Truthfully, I'm not crazy about oranges...I know, I know. I'm weird. Even though they were a bag of 8 for 99 cents at Aldi!! And they were pretty amazing as far as oranges go. Nate thinks I'm bizarre for not liking them more. But we all love the bananas. We go through so many of these two fruits! Which fruits does your family enjoy during the winter?

  1. Guess I need to get me some of those oranges. We eat at least one a day!

  2. I'm addicted to Honeycrisp Apples - why oh why do they have to be double the price of every variety of apple? Alas, they are perfect so I pay way too much for them. I tried going back to gala or fugi or cameo but I'm an apple snob now & must have my honeycrisp.
Adam & Kaiya go through so many bananas. I feel like I am always at the store buying milk & bananas.
(and I'm with you...Oranges are not my choice fruit)

  3. Grapefruit! I picked up a 5 lb bag for $1.47 yesterday. Gotta love Texan produce.

  4. We love bananas, but on the cheapest day at the market, they are close to 75cents each, so we don't get them very often. We don't have oranges, but easily consume 10 1/2 lbs of mandarins (like a tangarine) per week! We're all about winter cold prevention with natural sources of vitamin C! :)

  5. My children's 2 favorite fruits appear at the market in the winter. Pomegranate and Clementine oranges. We buy two boxes of the oranges a week! And we wait all year to see pomegranates in the store. Yum!
