Tallgrass Prairie Preserve Outing

 Our Nature Study families took a day trip to the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve near Council Grove. 

 Some of us followed it up with lunch at the Trail Days Cafe, where we consumed their Buffalo Joes (sloppy joes made with buffalo meat), and many other of their homemade dishes.  They also gave us a fairly extensive history lesson, which was unexpected, but interesting.
