Stopping for Mexican in Colby for Babu's Birthday.
Jenni's Birthday was at the YMCA.
Horse rides for the girls.
Indian food for dinner.
These four, plus Nate and Austin, hiked to Black Lake. They were gone from 10:00-6:00! The last 1/2 mile to a mile was in snow. I was so impressed with their stamina!
The rest of us stopped at Alberta Falls, then went back to Bear Lake where we had some zealous rock climbers, discovering caves and coves.
Her affection for chipmunks has not waned since our last trip here. :)
Followed by some treats at the house.
The last full day we took a lunch to Alluvial Fan. We hiked to near the top of the waterfall. We have some fearless kids!
Followed by a fireworks show in Estes Park from our patio.
A couple of fun stops on the way home: a Tajik teahouse in Boulder and the Hoxie house!
What a great trip with special memories for our family! We love these dear people!
