Goodbye Playset, Hello Clubhouse!

We've done a lot of family projects that wouldn't have happened without the coronavirus stay-at-home orders.  The main one being giving away our playset and building a clubhouse!
We loved this set, but it is time to go to another home.
This library find was a gem!
It got its wear during its stay at our house (which was much longer than anticipated due to the virus. :)  I'd recommend it to any child (or parent) who dreams of building a secret get-away.  Very simple layout and easy, detailed instructions for a beginner.  We were all taken in by this book!

After drawing up some plans to fit our space and hearing my pleas, Nate kindly built these cubbies for the ever-expanding pile of shoes that was taking over our mudroom floor.
This was right up our alley, as we were able to recycle already finished lumber we had on hand that used to be bookshelves in our basement.  We only needed to purchase the top board and some screws.  Using rebate money from Menards, this project was free!  We planned to stain the top board to match, but decided that we liked the overall look with the natural top.
