Bern Camp 2022

Bern Camp 2022 was a hit!

One of the highlights this year was a day at Iron Horse Lake.  We started out early, with the swimming area to ourselves.

And of course some fishing was to be had.

The lake got busier as the day went on, including a large group of Amish people.

We followed up the lake with Freddy's.

From Freddy's, I drove to Westmoreland to meet the Hansards and pick up Aliza after she returned from camp.  As we arrived back in Bern, the sunset was phenomenal.  It seemed to fill almost the entire sky.

Day 2 was also full of activity.

The traditional parents verses kids kickball game.

Followed up with a shared Ruby Red Squirt.  Why can I only find this drink in Nemaha County?

Later some Frieden's Ice Cream...the best on the planet.

And some 4-wheeler rides.

We missed the Iowa Farwells, but had a great time!
