Another coronavirus project was the formation of the Butterfly Boutique! With plenty of down time and room to brainstorm, these girls came up with a business of selling handmade goods with the goal of donating a percentage of profits to charity.
Finally, the postponed neighborhood garage sales happened, and these girls were ready! After a successful first day, they stayed up late replenishing their stock, then had another day of sales.
They were able to donate about $70 to the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation's COVID Relief Fund.
Also working hard these two days were Aliza and Abigail. After rounding up some items, they hosted their own garage sale and also raised money.
